With China now moving at an extremely fast rate in terms of social and technological development it is only natural that more and more people are visiting this ancient and magnificent country for their holidays. China is the world’s largest country and as a result the diversity is also huge, giving you the chance to engage in some absolutely wonderful activities.

Where should you visit when you take a trip to China, well there are a number of cities that you may wish to visit when on holiday in China. The main cities in China are:

One of the best places to visit when in China to visit is Hong Kong's The Po Lin Monastery which is located on Lantau Island. The monastery lists amongst its features a large seated bronzed Buddha named Tiantau which overlooks the island.

Or how about when in Shanghai try and spend some of your money down at Nanjing Road . This is the main shopping street of Shanghai , and one of the world's busiest shopping streets and retail areas.

One place that should always be visited is the Forbidden City which sites in absolute center of the ancient city of Beijing , the imperial palace used during the mid-Ming and the Qing Dynasties. Now more commonly known as the Palace Museum it is surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall.
